Slider image size/white space at top

    This is a really beautiful and functional theme that's coded quite elegantly. I have a few questions that I could not find answers to in your database:

    1. Do you know how to decrease the space between the logo masthead and the
    front page slider? There is quite an awkward white gap between the two -- ESPECIALLY when viewed on a mobile device.

    2. I want all of the images in the homepage slider to be a uniform size. What is the preferred image size so that they all render EXACTLY the same in the slider?

    3. I want the thumbnail images in the various sections (Homepage, related links, sidebar et al) to be the exact same size as well. Should I use a plugin like Force Regenerate Thumbnails or do you have another suggestion that doesn't involve adding a new plugin?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    1. You can use some custom CSS for that. Please try this Custom CSS via Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS.

    /*reduce header padding*/
    header#wi-header {
        padding-bottom: 0px;
    } div#header-area {
        padding-bottom: 0px;

    Let me know if that works for you.

    2. I would recommend width 1020 x height 510 pixels for high quality images in the slider. You can use other sizes but try to have close in size.

    3. You can make your images around the same size, that's the best way if you don't want to use a plugin.

    Let me know if this helps.
