    Hello,

hope all is going great by your side. I decided to buy The Fox, and it ok with installation. However, I have 2 questions.

The 1st one is about "post date" : I have seen it is possible to hide it, but is it possible to hide only on the main page while it will still be spread in each posts ?

The 2nd one is about the featured post (highlight on your demo site), i have featured some post with the star, but I can't see them on my site, is there a section to switch on ?

Wish you have a great day.

    Hi Cyprien,

    Thanks for purchasing my item.

1/ For a consistent experience, I made post date should be shown at once. But I can provide you a CSS code for hiding post on the front page only. Because we have few layouts and few areas so please tell me as detail as possible which area you wanna hide it.

2/ You may wanna go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Builder > Section 2 to enable it. If it's not working, please provide me your login credentials (in a private reply) I'll help you further.

    Kind Regards, Cuong Tran

    Hello Cuong,

thank you for your answer, number 2 is now fully working ok :).

For number 1, yes I would like to get a code to hide the dates only on the homepage (which you call frontpage?), and then to keep the dates working inside the posts.

    all the best

    Hi Cyprien,

Sorry for bothering one more time but as you know in your homepage / front page you have few sections (the slider maybe, big post, hightlighted posts, post in widgets..) I would like to know exactly which section(s) you wanna hide the date from. If you wanna hide the post date from all sections please provide me your site URL (maybe in a private reply if you need privacy).

    Hello Cuong,

thank you for your message and sorry for the delay, I was out fo a week. To answer your question, yes I want to hide the post date on every sections of the home page, and I want to keep the postdate only in the posts. Here is the url of the page http://houz-motik.fr

Is it also possible, to have the same structure as the demo site (screenshot attached to this message), means to have the excerpt under the picture, not inside ?

    Best regards,

    Cyprien

    Hi Cyprien,

1/ Please add this code to Customize > Additional CSS:

    .entry-date, .grid-date {display:none;} .single entry-date {display:inline;}

2/ Please use "Big Post" instead of "Slider" for your first section.

    Hope this helps, Cuong Tran

    Hi Cuong,

and thank you for the help.

1/ the postdate dot not appear on every sections of the homepage, but It actually also not appear in an article, and I wish we still can see the postdate when we open an article, do you have another code for that ?

2/ If I use "Big Post" instead of "Slider" for the first section, it spread the whole content, not the excerpt, and I did not yet found how to disable this in custom.

I also would like to use "View all" URL for section 2, but I don't know which url I should stamp in there, does that work with a category ?

    thank you

    Hi Cyprien,

1/ Sorry, I made the wrong code (it was missing a dot). Here's the correct one:

    .entry-date, .grid-date {display:none;} .single .entry-date {display:inline;}

2/Please try to use "More Tag" button to indicate which should be shown on front page for your big post. Please read this article.

3/Not sure what you mean. Please enter any URL you want.

    Hope this helps, Cuong Tran

1/ Great thank you, however it still stamp the date on the big post, so if you have another code its cool, if not it will be fine like this anyway.

2/ More tag is perfect option for the big post excerpt !

3/ I have actually found the way :)

    Thank You
