    Hello,

I am currently using the Dine theme with WordPress Multisite. To test the theme, pages, and appearance I played with some of the preloaded content. I should have duplicated pages and tested them but unfortunately I didn't. The Home page I played with now has a non-working hero image, duplicate main links, etc.

My question is: How do I start over with the Dine theme on my Multisite subdomain as if I just installed for the first time?

    Thanks,

    Brock

    Hi Brock,

1/ To setup hero image, you should understand how to set background for a row in Visual Composer. In this tutorial video, they used frontend editor but you can use frontend or backend editor. If you're unfamilar with Visual Composer, you can watch few videos in few minutes to get the concept (let ignore installation, activation.. parts)

2/ Your footer links have been duplicated. You can edit footer menu at Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Cuong,

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I've shown your theme to the company owners and they were very impressed. We are excited to get started. My front-end Visual Composer is not working. It stalls on every page while loading. I did a couple hours of research and troubleshooting yesterday with no answers besides the suggestion that DINE needs updating. Would you be able to look at my Visual Composer if I give you our login credentials? At some point I will hand this site over to the owners and they will need front-end editing capabilities.

    Thanks,

    Brock

    Hi Brock,

Frontend requires more Javascript snippets so we were focusing on backend editor. I think we'll try to work with frontend editor to fix issues you might face but unfortunately at this time we can not provide a comprehensive solution for frontend editor. Apologize for this.

Ahhh well that makes sense why it wouldn't load. It gave me time to learn and experiment with the backend editor. So far everything has worked pretty well. I can't seem to edit the black transparent overlay that is on the main hero image — Is that currently working? It looks like it should be at Pages > "Home" > Row > Background Overlay. When I change that color it doesn't affect the front-end.

    Hi tellyadikt,

Background overlay only works when parallax effect being disabled. Parallax effect changes the overlay when you're scrolling so it has no fixed value.
